A design event in partnership with MillerKnoll, the Cyprus Architects Association, and the University of Nicosia
8 May 2025 – Discovery Hall, University of Nicosia
Earlier this month, Studio Office had the pleasure of hosting a workplace design event in collaboration with MillerKnoll, the Cyprus Architects Association, and the University of Nicosia. Held at Discovery Hall, the event brought together architects, designers, and professionals from across the country to explore how workspaces are evolving — not just in form, but in purpose.
As the first official MillerKnoll dealer in Cyprus, we see it as part of our role to open up conversations around workplace change, design quality, and what the next chapter of the office looks like — locally and globally.
The morning featured presentations from Mark Catchlove, Director of MillerKnoll’s Global Insight Group, and members of the MillerKnoll EMEA team including Merve Aslan and Marco A. Vignati. Their research-led insights covered topics ranging from behavioural shifts and spatial planning to the role of culture in workplace effectiveness.
Throughout the session, one thing was clear: offices are no longer static spaces. The modern workplace needs to support focus, connection, and flexibility, all within a carefully considered framework of design.
Participants were also able to engage directly with the MillerKnoll team, ask questions, and reflect on how these global insights relate to Cyprus and its growing design landscape.
We’re thankful to everyone who attended, and especially to our partners for helping make this event possible. Conversations like these help all of us — as a design community — move forward with more purpose and perspective.
