Description

The Tulip Stool by Eero Saarinen for Knoll belongs to the celebrated Pedestal Collection, Saarinen’s answer to what he called the “slum of legs” beneath chairs and tables. Designed and refined over five years at the height of midcentury modernism through countless models and full-size prototypes, the Tulip pieces have become symbols of the era and mainstays of the Knoll legacy.

The stool’s seat shell is moulded fibreglass, set on a single, sculptural pedestal base of heavy moulded cast aluminium finished in white, black or grey paint. A comfortably padded cushion is offered, with a swivel base available. GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified and customisable in a wide range of Knoll Textiles and Spinneybeck leathers.

With its clean, single-stem silhouette, the Tulip Stool brings sculptural calm to reception areas, lounges, dining counters and refined hospitality interiors.
