Description

The Cesca Stool by Marcel Breuer for Knoll takes one of the twentieth century’s most influential designs to bar and counter heights, marking the centenary of the Bauhaus. Breuer’s original cantilevered concept — a continuous line of tubular steel supporting the seat — remains one of the most widely imitated ideas in modern furniture.

Built around a tubular steel frame, the Cesca Stool retains the hand-woven cane seat (and, on relevant versions, back) set within a beechwood frame that defines the original chair, bringing warmth and craft to its industrial structure. As an original Marcel Breuer design, the frame is stamped with the Knoll logo and the designer’s signature, ensuring lifetime authentication.
