Founded in 1966 in the manufacturing domain of traditional home furniture. Through the skillful hands of the founder Mr. Takis Charalambous and his entire crew, the Company has in little time expanded and became quite popular leader in Cyprus for its first class products. In 1970, together with the erection of the Company’s first full-line production plant at Yerolakkos Industrial Area, Mr. Takis Charalambous foresaw the necessity for manufacturing of contemporary business furniture to address real needs rather than to conform to accepted standards. Unfortunately, the impact of the 1974 Turkish invasion to Cyprus was really devastating as our Company lost all its assets. Today, proud to say, through our customers loyalty, trust and satisfaction, we are once again operating from our second private factory spaciously ambled with brand new fleet of state-of-the-art CNC machinery, fully-equipped warehouse facilities and all backed-up by a team of skillful employees.

Product Portfolio & Services

The company's business range consists of designing, manufacturing, installation and most important, guarantee for absolute customer satisfaction on any furniture domain we are dealing with, all reinforced and confirmed by the prestigious ISO 9001 award. Care for the environment is guarded by our ISO14001. The product portfolio includes anything that has to do with the office environment: executive and operative office furniture, open space system solutions, banking furniture and furnishings, conference rooms, outfitted walls, home office furniture, training rooms, lecture halls and auditoriums, office accessories, filing and archive storage systems etc. In addition, we also cover supplementary areas of contract furnishings such as cinema and theatre halls, sports seating, demountable staging, hotel furnishings, school furniture etc. Dedicated to helping people work more effectively, Takis Charalambous & Co. provides also a range of complimentary services to help customers evaluate and utilize office work space for improved business results. Such services are the interior architecture, layout propositions and finish/fabric selection and matching.


The Company’s sales policy had almost always been exclusively directed to Cyprus distributors and agents for reselling purposes as well as towards major private and government projects by working closely with architects and designers. Over the past few years, we have also thoroughly developed our Export Sales Dept. through which we cover various European Union countries such as UK, France, Greece and Belgium and various Arab Gulf and Middle East countries such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen and Sultanate of Oman. In fact, today, we are proud to present numerous prestigious projects throughout the overseas areas of operation. As of 1st April 1999, our Company has also expanded its sales activities in the retail sector as well, by the establishment of its first showroom outlet in Nicosia. On 1st of August 2000, the Limassol Showroom commenced operation. Both showrooms are operating under the brand name “Studio Office”. Today, through the experienced human elements of our sales team, we are in the position to listen, study and present any office furniture solution in any office environment.
